This game was made during Global Game Jam 2018, with me as the main artist. This is a party game, that can be played with 2 to 8 players, it’s a team versus team battle in space to destroy the other team’s planet, using only a bomb, inertia, and a self destruct functionality. Here your main enemy is… a bad internet connection! You are in the base sending control signals to a non populated spaceship, but the signals take more and more time to arrive the farther away from the base the ship is.
Making the art for this game was fun and challenging, as we chose the Well Rounded diversifier, that all the art had to be made using only spherical objects. This made me get out of my comfort zone in pixels and get into vectors and circles.
Laggernauts won second place by local popular vote, as well as Unity Developer Award!
